Neta Zach

Neta Zach, PhD is the head of Neuroscience Experimental Medicine group at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, responsible for experimental medicine activities across  diverse neuroscience areas, as well as a therapeutic area lead for ALS and neuromuscular diseases. She is based in Cambridge, MA.

Before joining Takeda, Neta was the Head of the Academic Affairs and Networks group at Teva Pharmaceuticals where she managed early stage collaborations across the  CNS research stage pipeline. Prior to that, she was also Chief Scientific Officer of ALS non-profit Prize4Life and managed programs on ALS drug discovery as well as fluid and digital biomarkers. For that work, she is the recipient of the 2021 Healey center award for innovation in ALS, for her role in development of the PRO-ACT database of completed ALS clinical trials.

Before joining Prize4Life, she was a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, after completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Rockefeller University under a Fulbright Scholarship. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the Hebrew University.
