Thomas Gaj
Thomas Gaj is an assistant professor of bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he is also a member of the Institute for Genomic Biology. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the Scripps Research Institute and completed his postdoctoral training in gene therapy at the University of California, Berkeley.
His research group is focused on applying DNA- and RNA-editing technologies to develop corrective gene therapies for neurodegenerative disorders.
